Job summary

Luby’s Culinary Services in Texas is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join its healthcare dining team. The Clinical Dietitian will oversee nutrition care, perform assessments, and coordinate therapeutic diets and supplements for patients.

The ideal candidate is an RDN with Texas licensure and a bachelor's degree in dietetics or related field, with 1–2 years of acute care experience preferred. This role offers professional growth within a healthcare dining program.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Texas licensure/certification as required by state of practice.
• Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or related area from a US regionally accredited college or university, or foreign equivalent.
• 1–2 years of clinical care in an acute care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the nutrition care of patients, performs nutritional assessments, manages therapeutic diets and orders for supplements.
• Provides nutritional education to patients and families, attends patient rounds, and maintains clinical nutrition policies.
