Marvin Composites, LLC. in Salem, VA, is hiring an Associate HR Business Partner to coordinate onboarding, HR orientation, and first-day processes. You will support benefits, policy guidance, performance processes, and HR communications, partnering with site leaders to set employees up for success.

You will assist with leave programs (FMLA), employee relations matters, and workplace culture initiatives while maintaining records and timekeeping accuracy. Strong MS Office skills required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a support HR role.
• Experience working in HR systems and the ability to learn new software.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and PPT.

Responsibilities

• Lead the onboarding experience by coordinating onboarding, HR orientation, and first day processes.
• Support core HR operations across benefits, policy guidance, performance processes, recognition, and HR communications.
• Assist leaders with people-related matters, including performance issues and policy concerns.
• Manage leave programs, including FMLA, with accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate events, recognition efforts, and stay/exit interviews.
• Maintain records, support timekeeping, and ensure site documents stay up to date.
