Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Hershey, PA is seeking an Associate Healthcare Director (AHCD) to assist the Healthcare Director in leading health and wellness activities and ensuring the resident care department runs efficiently while complying with regulations.

The AHCD will supervise medication technicians and nursing assistants, coordinate with physicians and pharmacists, maintain infection control standards, participate in training, and help ensure survey readiness.

Qualifications

• Current valid and unencumbered license to practice as an RN or LPN in the state where the community is located.
• Area of study: Nursing.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Health Care Director in leading health and wellness activities for residents.
• Supervise med techs and nursing assistants to provide quality care.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and Harmony policies.
• Oversee medication management program and conduct med tech training and skill validation.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and staff development; ensure survey readiness.
