Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Asheville, NC seeks an Associate Healthcare Director (AHCD) to support the Healthcare Director in leading health and wellness programs for residents. The AHCD guides nursing assistants and med tech teams to deliver compliant, quality care and maintain survey readiness.

Responsibilities include developing individualized service plans, coordinating with physicians, pharmacists and other providers, supervising medication management, training staff, and ensuring infection

Qualifications

• Current valid and unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state where the community is located.
• Nursing background; geriatric and dementia care preferred.
• 1-2 years experience; 3+ years preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Healthcare Director in leading health and wellness activities for residents.
• Lead the team of medication technicians and nursing assistants to provide quality care while maintaining regulations.
• Oversee the community’s medication management program and staff trainings.
• Develop and revise resident service plans; ensure survey readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists and other providers; participate in audits and infection control practices.
• Provide training and onboarding for staff and participate in hiring processes.
