Description

The Greenville University Men’s Gymnastics program is seeking applicants for the appointment of Associate Head Coach. This appointment begins June 1, 2025. This Associate Head Coach will be responsible for oversight of the Men’s Gymnastics NCAA Developmental Program and will support the head men’s gymnastics coach with the varsity program. Secondary responsibilities will be assigned by the Athletic Director.

Greenville University is a NCAA Division III institution, located outside of St. Louis. Greenville University is an evangelical Christian liberal arts college associated with the Free Methodist Church, whose faculty and staff affirm a Statement of Faith.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Academic & Spiritual Mentorship: Support student-athletes’ academic progress and lead team Bible studies or faith-based mentorship initiatives.
  • Coaching & Training: Assist in planning and leading practices and competitions.
  • Recruitment & Retention: Help identify and engage prospective student-athletes through emails, phone calls, letters, and social media.
  • Administrative Support: Manage team operations, maintain databases, and assist in fundraising, marketing, and community outreach.
  • Game Day & Event Management: Assist with athletic events, performances, and university-related activities as assigned by the Director of Athletics

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to Greenville University’s Christian mission and values.

Preferred Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Previous coaching experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Salary Band: $29,250-$88,000/ Annually. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions and department budget.
