Job summary

Cipriani & Werner P.C. is seeking a General Liability Associate for our Atlanta Office in Alpharetta, GA. The role is hybrid, with responsibilities including research, drafting pleadings, and court appearances as needed.

Requirements include a JD from an accredited law school and an active Georgia license, along with 2–4 years of litigation experience. ProLaw, Excel, and Office 365 proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school and an active Georgia license in good standing.
• 2–4 years of litigation experience (judicial clerks will be considered).
• Experience in General Liability Defense work preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
• Maintain billable hours as necessary.
• Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision.
• Assist in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trials when required.

Salary Range: $95,000.00 To $135,000.00 Annually

The Atlanta Office in Alpharetta, GA is looking for a General Liability Associate to join our growing team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
• Maintain billable hours as necessary.
• Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision.
• Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trial when and where necessary.

Position Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and an active license in good standing in Georgia.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in litigation (judicial clerks will be considered).
• Experience in General Liability Defense work preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.

This is a hybrid position.

The salary range for this position is $95,000-$135,000 and represents C&W’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, included but not limited to experience and qualifications.
