New England Legal Search in Boston, MA, seeks an 8+ year corporate attorney with big‑firm and in‑house SaaS licensing experience to serve as lead counsel for a data‑driven business unit. This high‑profile role offers significant growth and visibility.

You will lead a cross‑functional legal team, negotiate and draft strategic partner, vendor and outsourcing agreements, advise senior leadership on a wide range of legal issues, and manage data privacy and regulatory matters.

DescriptionGlobal cloud-computing B-to-B leader located North of Boston seeks 8+ year corporate attorney with big firm and significant in-house SaaS licensing experience to serve as lead counsel for dynamic data-driven business unit and its divisions. This is a high-profile, multi-disciplinary role which offers lots of opportunity for growth. This lawyer will serve as a team leader, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage lawyers and other professionals. Core responsibilities include: negotiating and drafting strategic partner, vendor and complex outsourcing agreements; advising and providing practical solutions to senior leadership teams on a wide range of business and strategic legal issues; managing compliance and regulatory matters (including data privacy); and serving as an escalation point for attorneys and staff. Significant experience negotiating complex customer-facing commercial agreements, including SaaS, IT technology partnership, and outsourcing agreements required. Global data privacy and cybersecurity experience a plus. Superb opportunity to join a top notch legal team! Position can be partially remote, in-person at least two days a week.
