Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required from ABA-accredited school.
• Indiana license in good standing required.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience.
• Substantive knowledge of ERISA-benefit plans, retirement plans, and welfare programs.
• Knowledge of labor, employment, and disability law.
• Experience in litigation or management recommended.
• Healthcare industry background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise HR on employee relations, disability matters, wage and hour compliance, and multi-jurisdictional issues.
• Provide counsel on ERISA-governed benefit plans, retirement plans, and health/welfare programs.”
• Assist with plan administration, eligibility, enrollment, and fiduciary governance.
• Review employment agreements and HR/benefit contracting needs.
• Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and leadership on complex matters.
