Goldman Sachs is seeking a professional to join Global Banking & Markets, Supervisory Risk & Controls in New York as an Analyst. You will help expand the program to cover GBM Private activities, focusing on the Capital Solutions Group (CSG) and its financing, origination, structuring, and risk management activities.

Responsibilities include building the supervisory framework, defining controls, and collaborating with bankers, Compliance, Engineering, Legal, and other teams to ensure effective

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Prior knowledge of banking activities including financing, origination, structuring & underwriting preferred.
• Familiarity with securities markets, derivative products, deal flows.
• Strong time and project-management/organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to handle a fast-paced environment; communicate factually and influentially.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of Capital Solutions Group (CSG) business activities.
• Support the development of the supervisory framework for CSG business activities, including appropriate desk controls, monitoring & tools.
• Define and implement appropriate controls to manage risk, including supervisor expectations and escalation.
• Support governance processes to drive monitoring & oversight for the covered controls.
• Build relationships with relevant stakeholder groups to implement the program, including bankers, Compliance, Engineering, Legal and others, as relevant.
• Engage with GBM Public side teams to drive consistency across the divisional supervisory program and related monitoring.
