Nearwater Capital is seeking a Settlement Operations professional to support the Risk Retention business from our New York office. You will manage securities settlements, cash flows, invoicing, and reporting while coordinating with custodians, counterparties, and trading teams to ensure timely and accurate settlement cycles.
You will apply fixed income operations knowledge, trade lifecycle expertise, and data analysis tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and controls.
This role sits within Operations supporting Nearwater's Risk Retention business, one of the firm's three business lines alongside Liquid Markets and Capital Markets, and is directly responsible for the accurate and timely settlement of security purchases and sales, repo transactions, invoicing, and other reporting requirements. It requires close coordination with our third-party custodian bank, counterparties, and trading teams, and also provides back-up support to the settlement process for the Risk Retention business.
