Base pay range

$32,800.00/yr - $48,540.00/yr

Job Description

The Associate Financial Services Representative will be an exceptionally customer-focused individual responsible for providing information, fulfilling customer needs, and tailoring services to create a seamless servicing experience.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist in verifying insurance benefits for services prior to admission.
2. Obtain timely pre-authorization for outpatient and inpatient services.
3. Create excellent customer experiences by addressing inquiries and resolving service issues, including researching accounts receivable, negotiating collection of overdue bills, understanding financial assistance, and resolving disputes.
4. Coordinate inpatient billing processes.
5. Support finance activities ensuring compliance with regulations and contractual obligations.
6. Assist in patient billing and maintaining records for certification purposes.
7. Coordinate with nursing staff for planning and organizing program activities.
8. Handle mostly routine, structured, and transactional tasks with minimal variance from guidelines.
9. Make routine decisions within defined parameters and escalate complex issues to senior team members.
10. Prioritize tasks based on standard practices or guidance from others.
11. Ensure responsibilities are performed accurately and timely within a specific area.
12. Perform related duties as required, considering all responsibilities as essential functions under the ADA.

Job Qualifications
