The Associate Financial Services Representative will be an exceptionally customer-focused individual who will provide information, fulfill customer needs, and tailor our services to create an easy and seamless servicing experience.

Start dates: 6/16 or 8/25, with an initial 8-10 week training period.

Anticipated length of assignment: 3 months to start, with the site anticipating 6 months or more.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm for the first 8-10 weeks, then 10am-6pm.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the verification of insurance benefits for services prior to admission.
  • Obtain timely pre-authorization for all outpatient and inpatient services.
  • Create positive experiences for customers by addressing inquiries and resolving service issues, including researching accounts receivable, negotiating collection of overdue bills, understanding financial assistance offerings, and managing customer disputes.
  • Coordinate inpatient billing.
  • Support all finance-related activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and contractual obligations.
  • Assist in patient billing and maintain relevant records.
  • Coordinate with nursing staff in planning and organizing program activities.
  • Handle internal and customer service contacts.
  • Perform routine, structured, and transactional work with minimal variance from guidelines.
  • Make routine decisions within defined parameters, escalating significant issues to senior team members.
  • Prioritize tasks based on standard practices or guidance from others.
  • Ensure timely and accurate performance of responsibilities within a specific area or related tasks.
  • Perform related duties as required. All responsibilities are considered essential under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned but related are not essential.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred.
  • 0-1 years of relevant experience preferred.
