Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, finance, data analysis, or a similar analytical role.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field preferred.
• Strong to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with large data sets, reconciliations, financial reports, or databases.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to research information and identify inconsistencies or discrepancies.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable learning new financial concepts, regulations, systems, and processes.
• Experience with SQL, Microsoft Access, government finance, municipal accounting, or public-sector finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, organize, and maintain financial and operational data.
• Work with large Excel spreadsheets and multiple data sources.
• Perform calculations, reconciliations, and financial tracking.
• Review historical and current financial information for accuracy and trends.
