Job summary

RBC is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor in the Greenwood Village, CO area. The role focuses on completing licensing (Series 7/66, life/health) and gaining wealth-management experience as a stepping stone to becoming a Financial Advisor.

You will study, pass required exams, and participate in a structured program with coaching from a Sales Manager. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with strong interpersonal and marketing skills and a proven drive to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to obtain Series 7 and Series 66 and life and health insurance exams within 180 days of beginning employment at RBC.
• Ability to take initiative and function independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills.
• Strong drive and dedication.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and promote business; a track record of success.

Responsibilities

• Study for and obtain the Associate Financial Advisor program's required licensing.
• Study and pass Series 7, Series 66, and life and health exams.
• Complete Associate Financial Advisor program assignments within timelines.
• Understand RBC policies and procedures and knowledge of products and services.
• Engage in planning, marketing, prospecting, and servicing activities.
• Report activities and results per program requirements and receive coaching from sales manager.
• Familiarize with RBC Wealth Management and regulatory requirements.
• Complete new employee orientation and other required modules.
