Job summary

BrokerHunter is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join a growing independent financial planning and wealth management firm in Honolulu. This role offers hands-on client exposure while developing toward becoming a Financial Advisor and building a personal book of business.

Working with a Lead Advisor, you will gain experience across the planning process, prepare financial plans, support investment recommendations, and help deliver exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of financial services or wealth management experience.
• Registered Representative experience preferred.
• FINRA Series 6, Series 63 and/or Series 7 preferred.
• Life & Health Insurance License preferred.
• Previous insurance sales experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with CRM and financial technology platforms.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Desire to develop into a Financial Advisor and eventually build and manage a book of business.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Advisor with client relationships and ongoing service.
• Support new client onboarding and retention.
• Gather, organize, review, and analyze client financial information.
• Assist with the preparation and delivery of financial plans.
• Support investment advisory and money management activities.
• Develop and cultivate client relationships.
• Assist with client events and special projects.
• Learn the firm's financial planning, investment, and client service processes.
• Progress toward greater responsibility through the firm's Advisor Pathway.
