This Position reports to:

Service Operations Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for Demand Field Service in Process Automation Energy Industries Service.

DCS Associate Field Service Technicians perform service in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. You will cooperate closely with customers and other ABB teams, supporting technical points while delivering quality service.

The work model for this role is hybrid. #LI-Hybrid

Division:

This role contributes to the Process Automation, Energy Industries Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform entry-level field service tasks, identify technical issues, and analyze problems through remote or on-site activities in service categories and products.
  • Prepare material lists needed for service activities and ensure all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality.
  • Execute work with a first-time right approach, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot simple equipment failures and make recommendations to prevent future issues.

Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree preferred or high school diploma with comparable military technical training.
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience preferred. A combination of education and experience or demonstrated accomplishments will be considered.
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 80% of the time.
