Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking an Associate, Biologist or Environmental Scientist to join our growing team as a business development and senior technical lead. You will work with diverse project teams on natural resources, permitting and environmental reporting across the Northwest.

This full-time position is based in Seattle, WA or Portland, OR, offering a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $150,000, eligibility for a discretionary bonus, and opportunities to mentor staff within a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Natural Resources or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of related experience including 5 years of Project Management.
• Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) certification preferred.
• Experience with local, state and federal permitting and wetlands in the Pacific Northwest.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with identifying new client opportunities while developing networks into a book of business.
• Lead business development opportunities to support NW region’s natural resources and permitting growth.
• Develop scopes of work and proposals within your area of expertise for client goals.
• Coach, mentor, and support staff to ensure high-quality project execution.
• Present technical information at internal/external events to identify opportunities.
