Job summary
Haley & Aldrich is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager, Biologist or Environmental Scientist to join our Seattle or Portland team as a senior technical lead and business development lead. You will manage complex natural resources and permitting projects, mentor staff, and drive client opportunities across multiple markets while ensuring technical excellence.
The role requires 15+ years of related experience with PM and staff management, and a strong background in regulatory frameworks,
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Biology, Environmental Science, Natural Resources or related field.
- Minimum 15 years related experience with 5+ years in PM and 5+ years in staff management.
- Experience with local, state, and federal permitting and wetlands in NW regions.
- Excellent written and oral communication; ability to present to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Identify new client opportunities and build a book of business.
- Lead business development in natural resources and permitting.
- Develop scopes of work and proposals within your expertise.
- Coach and mentor staff for high-quality project execution.
- Lead technical evaluations and development of site models.
