COOK SYSTEMS has an IMMEDIATE need for an Associate Email Marketing Technologist (Salesforce Marketing Cloud/SFMC).
The Performance Marketing Email team requires contract services to coordinate with email and cross-functional teams for planning, creating, deploying, and optimizing email campaigns.
Essential Job Functions:
- Produce and execute email campaigns, including building emails from templates and HTML, copywriting, creative alignment, QA, and deployment.
- Collaborate with designers to create and optimize email creative and copy based on best practices.
- Perform render testing across devices to QA emails and ensure correct rendering.
- Build testing opportunities across email campaigns.
- Provide regular campaign performance reports based on KPIs.
- Assist with SFMC advanced functionality setup and maintenance.
Required Platform Experience:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is required.
- Content Builder – required.
- Journey Builder – required.
- Contact Builder – preferred.
Required Experience: 2–3 years overall.
Top Skills:
- Experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to build and deploy emails.
- Ability to create and proof content.
- Experience in Photoshop for creating email images.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) experience, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio.
- Proven track record of building and optimizing complex email campaigns and customer journeys.
- Strong understanding of data extensions, segmentation, and dynamic content.
- Attention to detail and QA skills.
Content Creation & Copywriting:
- Proficient in writing clear, concise, and engaging email content aligned with AP Style guidelines.
- Experience collaborating with teams to maintain voice and tone consistency.
Design & Visual Communication:
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop for email asset creation, image optimization, and layout design.
- Knowledge of email design best practices, including responsive design and accessibility.
Project & Time Management:
- Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
- Self-starter with organizational skills to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Additional Operational Duties:
- Work with email, marketing, design, and analytics teams to align strategies with campaign goals.
- Design and execute A/B tests on subject lines, content, CTAs, and send times.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other regulations.
