Tarrant County College is seeking a dedicated individual for the District Clerk's Office. The role involves managing court records, assisting in court sessions, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and relevant experience. Accurately compose, compile, assimilate, and maintain the care, custody, and control of District Court records. Monitor and prioritize workflow to ensure timely processing of all work. Attend court sessions and act as a liaison between the Court and other county departments, law enforcement agencies, attorneys, and the public as directed by District Clerk policy. Ensure proper procedures are followed in all tasks.
These duties cover all sections of the District Clerk's Office, including Civil, Criminal, and Family. You are not required to know all sections but should be familiar with those applicable to your assigned section.

Requirements: Associate's degree and at least one (1) year of related experience, OR a high school diploma/GED with at least three (3) years of related experience. Knowledge of computers and word processing preferred. Must pass a 35-wpm typing test and a criminal background check. May require lifting boxes up to 50 pounds.
Note: Typing tests are by invitation only. Proof of educational attainment must be provided upon hire. Background checks include criminal history, credit, motor vehicle, employment, and education records. Incumbents must be able to sit, walk, stand, and perform physical tasks as required.
