A leading county in Texas is seeking a District Court Records Clerk to manage court records, assist in court sessions, and ensure compliance with legal procedures. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information. Candidates should have relevant experience and educational qualifications. Accurately compose, compile, assimilate, and maintain the care, custody, and control of District Court records. Monitor and prioritize workflow to ensure timely processing. Attend Court sessions and act as a liaison between the Court and other County departments, law enforcement agencies, attorneys, and the public as directed by District Clerk policy and management. Ensure proper procedures are followed as they pertain to the responsibilities of the position.
These duties encompass all sections of the District Clerk's Office, including Civil, Criminal, and Family. Knowledge of all sections is not required; focus is on the applicable section assigned.

Qualifications: Associate's degree and at least one (1) year of related experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED and three (3) years of related experience. Knowledge of computers and word processing preferred.
* Must pass a 35-wpm typing test (administered by invitation). Proof of educational attainment required upon hire. Must pass criminal background check and comply with district requirements.
* This position may require lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds.
