Join to apply for the ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II - District Clerk role at Tarrant County College.

Provides general administrative support to District Clerk Administration, including answering multi-line phones, directing calls, and assisting with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and mail processing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide information and referrals via the main District Clerk’s Office line.
  • Direct calls, take messages, and act as a receptionist.
  • Research client information for district court cases.
  • Assist with setup and management of DCSA accounts, including posting and refunding payments.
  • Prepare reports and application packets, schedule appointments.
  • Perform clerical tasks: sorting, filing, copying, data entry, and mail processing.
  • Maintain case file system and assist with staff spreadsheets.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of clerical experience working with the public, including two years of answering multi-line phones and data entry.
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
  • Knowledge of computers, office equipment, and typing skills.
  • Professional demeanor, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Note: You must provide proof of education at hire. Background checks will be conducted.

Physical Demands & Work Environment: Regularly required to bend, lift, reach, and perform repetitive tasks; work alone or with others.
