This role handles daily and emergency operations for gas distribution, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and serving as liaison with customers and regulatory agencies.

Associate Dispatcher I:On behalf of our Energy client, Procom is searching for an Associate Dispatcher I for a full-time role. This position is 100% onsite at our client’s Evansville, Indiana office.Associate Dispatcher I - Job Description:The Associate Dispatcher I will monitor, dispatch, and balance work orders to field personnel while ensuring effective communication between customer service representatives and field personnel. This role involves managing both daily and emergency operations to support the company's gas distribution efforts.Associate Dispatcher I - Responsibilities:• Answer the telephone and perform call-ahead requests for field technicians.• Receive and dispatch non-emergency work orders.• Dispatch orders via Mobile Data and Dispatching Solution.• Monitor, route, and document work orders to service technicians; review backlogged work orders.• Coordinate daily operational requirements between internal and external stakeholders.• Resolve scheduling concerns between the company’s Call Center, customers, and supervision.• Act as liaison between the company, customers, and governmental agencies in emergencies.Associate Dispatcher I - Mandatory Skills:• Experience with SAP or a mobile data dispatching system.• Experience in/or supporting gas distribution operations.• Strong business and financial acumen.• Excellent collaboration skills.• Customer focus through service.• Strong communication skills.Associate Dispatcher I – Nice-to-Have Skills:• Previous experience in a similar dispatching role.• Familiarity with the energy sector.• Problem-solving skills.• Ability to handle conflict effectively.• Experience in a dynamic and essential industry.Associate Dispatcher I – Assignment Length:This is a permanent position.Associate Dispatcher I - Start Date:ASAPAssociate Dispatcher I - Assignment Location:Evansville, Indiana, onsite.This posting is for an existing vacancy.
