About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Distribution Dispatcher Associate II tocoordinate field crews, respond to outages and emergencies, and support thesafe restoration of AEP’s electric distribution system. This onsite,safety-sensitive role requires strong decision-making, communication, andmultitasking skills in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities:

• Promotesand follows company safety, compliance, and operating procedures.
• Operatescompany communication equipment effectively.
• Tracksfield crews and distribution system activities.
• Dispatchespersonnel to outage and emergency situations.
• Coordinatesand authorize safe restoration of distribution facilities.
• Maintainsaccurate outage, equipment, and operational records.

NOTE:

Applicants must be U.S. citizens orpermanent residents (Green Card holders) to be considered for this position.

Job Type:

Work Set Up:

• Day:6 AM–6 PM
• Night:6 PM–6 AM
• Evening:2 PM–10 PM
• Reserve:7 AM–5 PM
• On-Call:Varies; overtime as needed
