Job summary

University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Theater Management Services seeks an Associate Director of Visitor Experience to lead daily visitor services and front-of-house operations.

You will supervise up to three Visitor Experience Leads and support a team of over 70 staff, overseeing recruitment, training, scheduling, coaching and performance management to ensure welcoming, safe, and inclusive experiences for audiences, artists and campus partners.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skill in house-managing a variety of public events, including large & small-scale productions, receptions (Required)
• Ability to recruit, train, schedule, coach and manage performance of staff and leads (Required)
• Strong coordination between guest services, concessions, event security and VIP needs (Required)

Responsibilities

• Approach daily visitor services and front-of-house operations with hospitality mindset
• Coordinate guest services, concessions, security, VIP needs and special event logistics
• Serve as House Manager for select performances and complex events
• Collaborate with production, ticketing and campus partners to ensure smooth operations
