Job summary

BMO Harris Bank is seeking a senior risk governance professional to provide regulatory compliance support and oversight for technology risk. You will communicate regulatory changes, perform risk assessments, and maintain risk control frameworks to ensure a strong control environment.

The role requires deep expertise in ORMF, ERDF, and policy governance within a matrix organization. Applicants should bring 10+ years in technology/finance, 5+ years in risk and compliance, and strong data analytics

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Technology or Financial industry work experience with a graduate or post-graduate degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, math or business management.
• At least 5 years of experience in risk and compliance domain with an ability to analyze and evaluate observations based on compliance, operations, risk model and performance.
• Ability to review all materials for compliance with state, federal, and contractual regulations and draft policy language.
• Strong data analytics and presentation skills, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint and other data analytics dashboard tools.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics to a non-technical audience with clarity on risk and cost implications.
• CRISC, CGEIT, CISA, CISM, PMP and/or Cloud compliance certification an asset.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and large organizations, and cloud-based services.
• Understanding enterprise risk management processes (Identify, assess, prioritize, treat, monitor).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert Regulatory Compliance support to Technology Operations in Enterprise Compliance Program.
• Identify regulatory changes and participate in implementation activities.
• Improve risk requirements understanding within the ORMF and ECP framework.
• Perform risk assessments and maintain PRC Framework and Control Library.
• Oversee policy changes and communications related to risk.
• Leverage data to provide qualitative and quantitative risk reports.
