Job summary

California Teaching Fellows Foundation is seeking a senior HR leader to manage Talent Acquisition and Onboarding teams, setting strategic direction and developing systems to drive efficiency. You will supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, and liaise with the Director of Personnel to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.

The role requires a four‑year HR degree (masters preferred) and 7+ years in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a four year college degree with emphasis in HR or personnel management; masters preferred.
• 7+ years of work experience in related HR fields including recruitment, onboarding, compensation and benefits.
• Fluent in English with strong interpersonal, written and spoken communication.
• Ability to manage multiple HR functions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage Talent Acquisition and Employee Onboarding divisions and provide strategic direction.
• Supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, and coach team members.
• Serve as liaison between divisions and Director of Personnel; report needs and improvements.
• Oversee investigations, policy interpretation, and employee relations issues.
• Support personnel management, policy dissemination, and mandated trainings.
