Job summary

The California Wellness Foundation (Cal Wellness) is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead talent and development initiatives and partner with organizational leaders to align talent strategies with priorities.

This independent contributor and leadership role will oversee talent acquisition, performance and professional development, DEI initiatives, and staff experience, while supporting the Sr. Director of HR and collaborating across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead talent acquisition, performance, and professional development initiatives.
• Advance staff DEI initiatives and contribute to an inclusive culture.
• Enhance employee relations and overall staff experience across the organization.
• Collaborate with the Sr. Director of HR and EMC on HR strategy and reporting.
• Provide leadership support and guidance to staff and managers on HR matters.
