Associate Director, Solution Design (Product Manager)

We have an immediate need for an Associate Director, Solution Design (similar to a Product Manager) for long-term independent contractor engagements (1099). This role involves defining and executing the vision, strategy, and implementation of solutions that enhance operational efficiency, meet agency needs, and support company objectives. It plays a key role in leading automation solutions within the broader transformation and automation team, including analyzing requirements, monitoring progress, and stakeholder communication. The role reports to the Solutions Design Lead and requires strategic leadership skills to align technology with business goals.

Responsibilities
  1. Vision & Strategy: Define solution strategy, roadmap, and features aligned with organizational goals. Develop transformation roadmaps to enhance scalability, efficiency, and innovation.
  2. Research & Needs Analysis: Gather stakeholder feedback, analyze agency requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate needs into effective solution designs.
  3. Technology Integration: Lead evaluation, selection, and integration of technology solutions; identify automation, AI, and analytics opportunities; engage with product managers and developers.
  4. Communication & Stakeholder Management: Track progress, address issues, communicate updates, and serve as liaison among teams and external partners.
  5. Collateral Development & Deployment: Create deployment materials, documentation, and oversee solution rollout across the organization.
  6. Quality Assurance: Conduct testing, ensure quality standards, implement KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Media, or related field.
  • 7+ years experience in solution design, technology strategy, or transformation roles within media or tech environments.
  • Proven leadership in large-scale transformation projects and technology integration.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.

This hybrid role requires three days in-office per week, with flexibility for remote work on other days, subject to change based on business needs.
