Job summary

VML is seeking an Associate Director, SEO to drive GEO/AI visibility for a major enterprise client. You will manage multiple workstreams across products, languages and markets, and craft prompt sets that enhance brand visibility in AI-generated answers and traditional search results.

You will lead strategy workshops, translate content gaps into actionable briefs, and coach the client through ongoing GEO optimization.

Qualifications

6-8 years of SEO experience in an agency or enterprise setting.
Demonstrable GEO or AI-visibility experience with prompt design and briefs.
Experience facilitating client-facing workshops with senior stakeholders.
Hands-on demo work in an enterprise brand visibility platform.
Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Deepcrawl, STAT, Screaming Frog, MOZ.
Leadership experience and strong client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

Lead structured strategy sessions with stakeholders to define content frameworks and launch calendars.
Translate content framework outputs into actionable briefs for client teams and engineers.
Develop and expand prompt sets across products, languages, and markets.
Manage post-launch GEO optimization, uplift reporting, and gap reviews with the client.
Demonstrate platform credibility in training sessions and in co-branded contexts.
Collaborate across disciplines to align organic, paid, social, and analytics efforts.
