Job summary

VML is seeking an Associate Director, SEO (Generative Engine Optimization) to lead GEO and AI-visibility initiatives for a major enterprise client. You will chair workshops, design prompt sets, and drive post-launch optimization across products and markets, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure credible platform use.

You will work in a hybrid model with hands-on platform work and direct client coaching, contributing to high-impact discoverability strategies and delivering

Qualifications

• 6-8 years experience working in SEO, agency experience required.
• GEO or AI-visibility experience, including prompt set design, LLM-oriented content briefing, or measurement of brand presence in AI-generated answers
• Experience facilitating client-facing workshops or strategy sessions with senior stakeholders
• Hands-on demo environment work and client training before client-facing engagement
• Experience with enterprise brand visibility platforms and related tools such as SEMRush, Deepcrawl, STAT, Screaming Frog, MOZ

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy workshops with client stakeholders and map content to product launches.
• Translate content framework outputs into actionable briefs for client teams.
• Build scalable prompt sets across products, languages, and markets.
• Oversee post-launch GEO optimization and uplift reporting.
• Demonstrate platform credibility in client sessions and co-branded contexts.
• Provide high-level strategic guidance for discoverability initiatives.
