Job summary

VML seeks an Associate Director, SEO (Generative Engine Optimization) to lead GEO work for an enterprise client within the Discoverability group. You will drive brand visibility in AI-generated answers and traditional search, coordinating across products, languages, and markets.

The role requires hands-on platform work, senior stakeholder facilitation, and strategic leadership to deliver high-impact discoverability results in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in SEO, agency experience preferred.
• GEO or AI-visibility experience with prompts and briefs.
• Experience facilitating client-facing workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on in a demo environment and enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate strategy workshops with client teams and develop initial prompt sets.
• Translate content frameworks into actionable briefs for product launches.
• Design scalable prompt strategies across products, languages, and markets.
• Manage post-launch optimization and uplift reporting with the client.
• Demonstrate platform credibility in live sessions and cross-brand contexts.
• Lead and mentor and collaborate with cross-discipline teams.
