Job summary

Ginkgo Datapoints seeks an Associate Director of Sales to drive revenue for the Small Molecule Services portfolio, partnering with science and commercial teams to close deals. The role reports to the Head of BD and requires scientific fluency and a track record of closing commercial opportunities.

The position focuses on ADME profiling and cell perturbation screens, with travel ~20-30% and a leadership role within the commercial team.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Chemical Biology, Cell Biology, or a related life sciences field; or a business degree with direct life sciences exposure.
• 3-7 years of experience in scientific roles or in commercial roles within life sciences
• Self-starter with strong communication skills and ability to translate complex science into value propositions

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a portfolio of pharma/biotech/tech accounts from prospecting through close
• Lead end-to-end commercial negotiations and contract terms
• Represent the team at conferences and drive go-to-market strategy
