Vir Biotechnology's San Francisco headquarters seeks an experienced project management professional for the ReSPO team to lead both partnered and internal research programs from discovery through early development. You will drive integrated planning, manage milestones, and mitigate risks while collaborating across functions to ensure successful progression of assets.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in drug development
• Ability to independently drive complex activities and deliver results
• Experience managing projects with remote teams and external alliances
• Deep knowledge of PM methodologies, concepts, techniques, and tools
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, SmartSheet or other PM software

Responsibilities

• Drive execution of partnered and internal research programs.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, assumptions, dependencies.
• Facilitate cross-functional project team meetings and align objectives and deliverables.
• Track program progress and mitigate risks impacting timelines.
• Support governance for portfolio reviews, stage gates, and leadership discussions.
• Coordinate with external collaboration partners as appropriate.
• Partner with CMO, Alliance Management, TechOps to transition assets to development.
• Contribute to strategic planning and operational reporting.
