Job summary

Optum Insight is seeking an Associate Director, RCM Self-Pay Operations to lead both in-house self-pay collections and outsourced vendor activities within the Self-Pay CoE. This remote role focuses on scaling insourced teams, optimizing A/R performance, and driving cash acceleration while maintaining governance across channels.

You will oversee staffing, SLAs, and data-driven reporting to clients and leadership, with in-office requirements for Minneapolis or DC area hires.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, including self-pay operations or related areas.
• 3+ years of experience directly managing a team of 8+ FTEs.
• 2+ years overseeing third-party collection/vendor operations with SLA management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day in-house Self-Pay operations and insourcing initiatives.
• Direct monthly/quarterly vendor reviews and data-driven performance reporting.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and cash-acceleration objectives across in-house and vendor channels.
