Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director who is an expert mechanistic modeler and quantitative drug developer. You will independently design and execute model analysis plans to inform translational and drug development questions within immunology, collaborating with functional departments and external vendors.

You will apply quantitative skills to integrate preclinical and clinical data using PK/PD, PBPK, QSP, or other mechanistic models.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree with at least 4 years.
• Experience in mechanistic modeling and translational drug development.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute model analysis plans to inform translational questions.
• Develop and apply PK/PD, PBPK, or QSP models to guide dose selection and trial design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Present scientific data clearly in group settings.
