Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in Rahway, NJ is seeking an Associate Director, an expert mechanistic modeler and quantitative drug developer who designs and executes model analysis plans informing translational and immunology research.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply PK/PD, PBPK, QSP or other mechanistic models to define success criteria, inform dose selection and trial design, and communicate data clearly in group settings.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience; PharmD or equivalent with at least 6 years; MS with at least 8 years.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute model analysis plans for translational and drug development questions.
• Apply PK/PD, PBPK, QSP or other mechanistic models to define success criteria.
• Perform clinical trial simulations and model-based analyses to inform dose and schedule decisions.
