Job summary

HireLifeScience seeks an Associate Director, a senior modeler who designs and executes mechanistic modeling strategies to support translational and clinical development in immunology. The role emphasizes collaboration with departments and vendors, with strong communication of scientific data.

The candidate will integrate preclinical and clinical data using PK/PD, PBPK, QSP or other mechanistic models to guide dose selection, trial design, and go/no-go decisions in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent with 4+ years related experience; PharmD with 6+ years; MS with 8+ years.
• Educational background in biopharmaceutics/pharmaceutical sciences/pharmacometrics/math/biostatistics/ computational biology/chemistry/engineering.
• Hands-on PK/PKPD/QSP modeling using Phoenix, R, Matlab, NONMEM, Monolix.
• Advanced skills in experimental design, mathematical problem solving, data interpretation.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead model-based analyses to inform translational and drug development questions.
• Apply PK/PD, PBPK, QSP or mechanistic models to integrate preclinical and clinical data.
• Perform clinical trial simulations and dose/schedule optimization.
• Drive model-based decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.
