Job summary

RTX is seeking an Associate Director of Program Management to lead complex defense programs from start-up through delivery, ensuring alignment with contracts, financials, and defense accounting standards.

You will partner with CGO and senior leadership to set strategy, drive disciplined execution, manage risk and performance, and coordinate with capacity growth and production. This on-site role offers relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 12+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 10+ years.
• Experience leading production programs or complex development programs with production.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance required before start.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the accountable leader for program cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Maintain compliance with CAS, EVMS, and FAR/DFARS provisions.
• Drive disciplined program execution through risk management and schedule analysis.
• Ensure resource planning aligns with strategic priorities.
• Coordinate between Capacity Growth Office, functions, and programs.
• Develop strategies to build capacity for upcoming demand and config updates.
• Establish governance with dashboards, schedules, and enterprise reporting.
• Manage risk, opportunities, cost, quality, and schedule performance.
