Job summary

CSL Behring in Chicago, IL seeks a Process Technology Lead to guide the site Process Engineering team through CAPEX and OPEX initiatives, ensuring equipment, facilities and processes meet production demands and regulatory standards.

You will mentor staff, coordinate cross-site processes, and partner with the Senior Director, Project Delivery and Global Plasma Technology Ownership to drive efficiency, compliance, and site portfolio execution.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering/Science required.
• Advanced degree in Engineering/Science or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads multi-disciplinary project teams through life cycle activities to deliver capacity expansion capabilities to meet global and local strategic requirements.
• Develops Process Automation Strategy for project activities.
• Works closely with Execution Systems team to ensure that project instrumentation, automation, and alarm strategies align with industry standards and with product Quality by Design approach.
• Responsible for providing cGMP compliant processes and facilities suitable for FDA and global regulatory approval.
• Ensures that initiatives are aligned with the business objectives and strategic philosophy.
• Oversees project teams responsible for completion of project lifecycle activities through turnover to routine commercial production.
• Oversees generation of regular project reports (financial updates, project schedules, risks and summary of current activities) for senior site management and Global Steering Committees.
