Job summary

Auburn Athletics is seeking an Associate Director of Premium Sales to drive revenue from premium seating and hospitality. You will build a high-value pipeline, lead outbound sales, and deliver a best-in-class client experience for premium partners.

This limited-term role reports to Athletics Development and collaborates across departments to shape pricing, inventory, and donor engagement, with a three-year assignment ending August 2029 while funding allows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 3 years of experience in premium sales, ticket sales, and/or fundraising.
  • Experience in collegiate athletics or sports is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Generate premium seating revenue through proactive prospecting and outbound sales.
  • Oversee the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through contract execution.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects while meeting revenue goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with high-capacity donors, alumni, corporate partners, and community leaders.
  • Partner with Athletics Development to identify opportunities for philanthropic engagement and long-term donor growth.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to inform pricing strategies, inventory utilization, and product positioning.
  • Maintain detailed records of prospect activity and sales performance within the CRM.
  • Provide high-touch service to premium clients to support onboarding, engagement, and retention.
  • Assist with premium hospitality and game-day engagement efforts to strengthen client relationships.
  • Represent Auburn Athletics at cultivation events, networking functions, and select athletics events.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to enhance sales strategy and competitiveness.

Fuel the growth of Auburn Athletics through strategic,high-value premium partnerships!

The Associate Director of Premium Sales is responsible for drivingsignificant revenue growth through the strategic sale of premiumseating and hospitality offerings for Auburn Athletics. Thisposition will proactively identify, cultivate, and solicithigh-value prospects while delivering a best-in-class experiencethroughout the sales process. This role will serve as a keycontributor to premium revenue strategy and collaborate acrossAthletics Development, Ticket Operations, and external partners tosupport the long-term financial success of Auburn Athletics.

This role is a limited‑term, three‑year assignment with ananticipated end date of August 2029. Continuation beyond that datewill depend on funding availability and projectneeds.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of experience in experience in premium sales, ticketsales, and/or fundraising.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Preferably in collegiate athletics, professional sports, or arelated revenue generating environment.
