What the role covers

Linesight is recruiting an associate director for planning and scheduling in Portland, Oregon, a permanent full time post with one opening. The role leads a scheduling team and doubles as the key account manager for the firm's life sciences and pharmaceutical work, so client relationships and business development sit beside the programme discipline.

The post holder oversees strategic client projects, applies scheduling experience to deliver against contract performance measures, and negotiates contract terms and commercial agreements with clients and contractors directly. Mentoring the team and leading it to quality and client value are stated duties.

Ten years or more in construction planning and scheduling is required, with ownership of master project schedules in cradle to grave environments and working experience of Primavera P6 and Power BI. Experience in life sciences or pharmaceuticals is sought, though data centre and mission critical work will also be considered.

A degree or comparable experience in cost management or quantity surveying is asked for, chartered status is sought and professional membership is preferred. The post is hybrid, with two to three days on site each week; a candidate from outside the area may work remotely but should expect frequent fly in and fly out travel.
