Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Scheduling Lead to develop and manage complex project schedules across life sciences and mission-critical projects. You will define WBS, baseline schedules, and ensure integration with procurement and control plans while guiding a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires expertise in Primavera P6, strong leadership, and a focus on quality. The position offers hybrid work, with 2–3 days onsite in Boston, MA or Portsmouth, NH, and a salary range of $125,000–$175,000 USD.

Qualifications

• Experience with quantitative risk assessment (QRA) on life sciences or mission-critical projects.
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
• Degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction related discipline.
• Experience with Primavera P6 software.

Responsibilities

• Build project schedules encompassing full project scope, milestones and timelines using critical path methodology.
• Define responsibilities and ownership via Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Manage base-lining and periodic updates of schedules; ensure alignment with execution plans and procurement strategies.
• Lead and mentor the team to deliver high-quality schedules and client value; foster growth and top performance.
• Provide regular schedule progress updates through analysis and reporting; facilitate planning sessions and risk workshops.
• Coordinate resource loading and review external schedules to ensure best practices are followed.

The Opportunity

In this role you will:

• Build project schedules encompassing full project scope, milestones and timelines, using critical plan methodology
• Ensure clear responsibility and ownership for all project outcomes is defined via Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) methodology
• Ensure schedule adheres to the project execution plan and in particular contracting, procurement and project control strategy documents and plans
• Ensure there is a clear method in place for base-lining of schedules and manage periodic updates
• Manage the fully integrated project schedule and structure it to allow review at a range of levels and details
• Negotiate and mediate timelines and project interdependencies between key partners for a great client outcome
• Provide regular updates on schedule progress through expert analysis and reporting
• Facilitate Interactive Planning and Pull Planning sessions
• Attend Risk Analysis workshops and support the QRA process
• Resource load schedules as required by the project team
• Preparation of scheduling best practices and procedures
• Review external schedules to ensure that they are compiled using scheduling best practices
• Lead your team to deliver impeccable quality and client value by fostering an environment of top performance and growth through excellent mentorship and leadership

Work Environment:

• This role will be hybrid and require 2-3 days per week onsite either in Boston, MA or Portsmouth, NH depending on candidate location.

The Salary range for this role is $125,000.00-$175,000.00 USD but actual salary offered will be dependent on education, skillset and experience.

All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
