Job summary

Horizon Media in New York, NY seeks an Associate Media Director to lead day-to-day liaison between the client and media teams, shaping data-driven strategies and investment plans.

The role involves coaching a high-performing team across Social and Programmatic channels, overseeing DV360/YouTube workflows, and partnering with vendors and stakeholders to drive ROI and scale client growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience directly related to Programmatic (DV360, YouTube) with Social exposure with a focus on direct response campaigns (CPA, CPL, ROI, ROAS)
• Ability to optimize within DV360 on YouTube for Demand Gen and Upper Funnel Media
• Ability to interpret conversion and brand lift studies
• Ability to optimize across CTV (growth area)
• Experience with Brand Safety Optimizations and programmatic buying & planning

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading applicable Client relationship(s) on behalf of Social and Programmatic teams.
• Develop data-led strategies and investment allocation for client needs across Social and programmatic.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure teams are aware of media investment details.
• Articulate performance recommendations and ROI/KPIs.
• Develop senior leadership session stories and client relationships.
• Identify growth potential and create business development plans.
• Coordinate makegood coverage and explore creative solutions with partners.
• Review DSP/platform setups and approve launches in QA process.
• Manage subsets of Programmatic and Social teams across multiple clients and refine processes.
• Contribute to team training and cross-learning sessions.
