Job summary

Merck is seeking a PAM Team Lead (R4 - Associate Director) to own the enterprise PAM roadmap and drive delivery across global teams. You will partner with IAM Product, security, risk, and architecture to advance Zero Trust and strengthen identity security.

The role combines leadership, engineering execution, and governance to reduce cyber risk and ensure secure access and secrets management across environments. Strong collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity or IAM experience with PAM focus.
• Experience leading security engineering teams in a large global org.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the enterprise PAM roadmap aligned with cybersecurity strategy and Zero Trust objectives.
• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise PAM and secrets management capabilities.
• Promote Agile ways of working and continuous improvement; mentor the team.
