Takeda Oncology seeks a Scientific Communications Lead, Associate Director, Hematology to define and drive global publication strategy, coordinate cross-functional medical affairs teams, and ensure scientific rigor across publications.

The role leads a publications planning team, manages vendors and budgets, interfaces with investigators and leaders, and supports data dissemination through diverse channels while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline plus commensurate long-term experience within pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) in a scientific discipline (preferred).
  • 7+ years healthcare or related experience, including 3+ years of experience with the development and execution of medical publications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global or regionally integrated strategic publication plans in coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead publications planning team and manage external vendors and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with GPP3, ICMJE, CONSORT, and other standards; maintain Datavision databases.
