Job summary

MSD is seeking an Associate Director for US Oncology Payer Market Access to lead payer strategies for current indications and future launches. You will work with cross-functional teams, alliance partners, and external agencies to develop access strategies and value propositions for payers and providers.

The role requires strong leadership, market access expertise, and knowledge of healthcare policy. Location options include Upper Gwynedd, PA (Hybrid) or Remote, with opportunities to influence

Qualifications

• Minimum of (5) years combined experience in Pharmaceutical Marketing, Marketing Customer Management, Managed Care or Sales.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical critical thinking and planning skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills (written & verbal).
• Ability to manage change, anticipate risks, and design controls or mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer specific payer/market access strategies and execute across partnerships and oncology medicines.
• Input into development and execution of payer value propositions and branded promotions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and alliance partners to support access for patients and business growth.
• Provide input from US perspective into Global Access Teams and Health Economics and Outcomes Research.
• Understand impact of costs on patient out-of-pocket and access considerations.
