Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking an Associate Director Regional Market Access to shape payer strategies and lifecycle management for our PD-1 asset. You will collaborate across access, pricing, contracting, and policy teams to develop customer-specific market access initiatives.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking, leadership, and cross-functional engagement, with hybrid/remote work options and up-to-date insights on healthcare trends and policy developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years combined experience in Pharmaceutical Marketing, Marketing Customer Management, Managed Care or Sales.
• MBA and AD level of Marketing or Managed Care/Payer Marketing preferred.
• Experience in Oncology/Oncology Payer/Buy-And-Bill and lifecycle management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the lifecycle management (LCM) strategy for our PD-1 asset and input into payer value propositions, pricing strategies and channel-specific initiatives.
• Develop comprehensive payer/market access strategies and execute across cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Global Market Access, Health Economics and Outcomes Research, compliance, legal, pricing, and other functions to address regulatory and policy milestones.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
