MSD in Upper Gwynedd, PA (Hybrid/Remote) seeks an Associate Director, US Oncology Payer Market Access to lead cross-functional strategic initiatives and support one alliance product plus a new product. You will coordinate with promotions, marketing, medical affairs, CORE and pricing to optimize access and reimbursement for current and future indications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years combined experience in Pharmaceutical Marketing, Marketing Customer Management, Managed Care or Sales.
• Strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical thinking and planning skills.
• Proactive nature and ability to manage change, anticipate risks, and design controls or mitigation.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills (written & verbal).
• Proficient at leading across department and roles and engaging senior management.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with alliance partners and internal/external teams to develop customer strategies and drive access for patients.
• Support development of payer/market access strategies aligned with brand objectives across current and future indications.
• Input into payer value propositions, channel strategies and branded promotions.
• Serve as main point for messaging and communications for field facing teams (Oncology Sales, Key Accounts).
• Provide input from US perspective into Global Access Teams and Health Economics/OEM opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to build a value proposition for oncology medicines for access and reimbursement.
• Support alliance and new product forecasting discussions.
• Understand impact of costs on patients (OOP) for mono and combo therapies across pharma/medical benefits.
