Merck is seeking an Associate Director, US Oncology Payer Market Access to lead cross-functional collaboration with brand teams, alliance partners, and internal functions to develop payer strategies and access plans for oncology medicines.

Responsibilities include shaping value propositions, field messaging, and forecast support, with a focus on current and future indications, and consideration of cost impact to patients across pharmacy and medical benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of (5) years combined experience in Pharmaceutical Marketing, Marketing Customer Management, Managed Care or Sales
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical and planning skills
• Proactive with change management and risk mitigation
• Strong leadership and communication skills (written & verbal)
• Experience coordinating across departments and senior management

Responsabilités

• Develop customer-specific payer/market access strategies and execute with alliance partners
• Input into payer value propositions and branded promotional initiatives
• Provide field-facing messaging and communications support for Oncology teams
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on access and reimbursement strategies
• Support forecasting discussions for alliance and new products
• Understand impact of costs on patient out-of-pocket for therapies
